What we believe in...
BIBLE
We believe that in the Scripture is containing the divine revealed truths of God’s will to the world
(Luke 1:1-4; 4:21; 24:44 -49; John 1:1-5; 14; 6:68).
GOD
We believe in One true living God as the Creator of the Whole universe, the very source of all that are. He is no beginning and End (Genesis 1:1-4; Isaiah 40; Ps. 90:2; 93:2; Ecc. 3:4; Rev 1:8). He is true loving God (John 3:16). God is love (1John 4:7-8, 16). One true living God exist in his unique, integral divine loving relationships of three persons of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Mark 1:9-11). In His sovereignty, all things created and redeemed for his glory and honour (Prov. 16:9; Ex. 4:11; Ps 115:3; Rev 4:8-11). He will judge accordingly to everyone’s work (Matt 12:36-37;Rev 22:12) in judgement Day (1Cor 4:5; 2Cor 5:10; John 5: 28-29; Matt 25: 31-46).
HUMAN BEINGS
Human beings created by God in his image and likeness (Gen 1:26-33). Human beings are spiritual beings. The couple (male and female) failed God in which all of humanity are under the guilt of sinfulness since from the beginning (Gen 3:6-24; Rom 3:23-24) and deserved to die (Rom 6:23). There is no other way to be saved and find the meaning and purpose of our/this life. We need God’s way (Isaiah 55:8; Rom 5:8; John 14:6).
SALVATION
God’s way was his Son (John 3:16; Luke 19:10; Iasiah 55:8; John 14:6) sent to die once on the cross for all people (Roman 6:10; 1Timothy 4:10; 2Corinthians 5: 14-15). All are justified and reconciled with God by faith alone (Roman 5:1-2, 10-12). Transformation and new life in Christ are free to all people (2 Corinthians 5:16-17; John 3:4-7).
JESUS CHRIST
He is the Son of God (John 3:16) born by Virgin Mary (Luke 2:6-21). He is fully human and fully God (John 1:14). Through Him all things came to exist (John 1:1-5). He died on the Cross, buried and rose again after three days ( Mark 16:2; Luke 24:1; John 20:19; Matthew 28:1). He ascended to heaven (Luke 24:50). He is Eternal (Rev 1:8). All tongues must confess to his name and all knees to bow (Philippians 2:10-11; Roman 14:11; Ephesian 2:10-11). He is coming back again (Rev 22:7,12).
HOLY SPIRIT
Holy Spirit is fully God (1Corinthians 12:7-11) and equal in power and glory to the Father and of the Son in Trinity. Holy Spirit empower believers, guide and lead believers to the truth (Acts 5:3-4). Holy Spirit bring conviction of sin and intercedes the believers. Holy Spirit offer gifts to believers as wisdom, understanding and counsel (John 14:16, 26; 15:26). Holy Spirit helps the believers with God’s Will. Holy Spirit is in everywhere presence (Psalm 19:1-2). Holy Spiri thinks and knows (1Corinthians 2:10) and can be grieved (Ephesians 4:30). He intercedes for us (Roman 8:26-27).
FAITHFUL PEOPLE
The ‘Faithful followers of Jesus Christ’ in a visible and physical form (individuals or groups) as the result of God’s graceful act in this world (Acts 1:8; 2) The One Body’s head is Christ [Col 1:18;1Cor 12:12; Eph 1:22-23; Col 2:10] and seen to love one another instead of divisive attitudes (John 13:34-45;1Corinthians 1:10- 17). Each person (believer in Christ) is a member of the invisible body of Christ (Roman 8:1-17; John 1:12). There is no need to be qualified by any process to become a body of Christ.
